Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Soulstack ("Soulstack", "we", "us" or "our"), and govern your access to and use of the Soulstack websites, the Creator Console, and all connected products and integrations (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully - by using the Service you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance & eligibility
By creating a Soulstack account, connecting a Twitch, Discord, Google or OBS integration, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required by any platform you connect (for example Twitch or Discord) or by the law of your country. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials and connected-platform tokens secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
Notify us promptly at support@soulstack.gg if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account that results from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
3. The Service
Soulstack provides tools for live creators and their communities, including Stream Studio, Chat Bot, Quest, Pond Party, the Discord Bot, Slate, and Command Deck. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.
Some features depend on third-party platforms and are only available while those platforms grant us the necessary access. We do not guarantee that any particular integration will remain available.
4. Third-party platforms & integrations
The Service connects to third-party platforms including Twitch, Discord, Google (including Google Calendar) and OBS. Your use of those platforms through Soulstack remains subject to each platform's own terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them.
Soulstack is an independent product and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Twitch, Discord, Google or the OBS Project. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of any third-party platform, and access to integrated features may be limited by the rate limits, policies or outages of those platforms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- harass, defraud, impersonate, or infringe the rights of any person;
- send spam, run unsolicited mass messages, or artificially inflate metrics;
- violate the terms, rate limits or automation policies of any connected platform;
- distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt the Service;
- upload content that is unlawful, hateful, or sexually exploitative of minors;
- reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or limit accounts that abuse automation features, spam viewers, or attempt to circumvent platform rules.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the chat commands, overlays, canvases, schedules, profiles and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant Soulstack a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt and display Your Content solely as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service and to provide it to the audiences you direct it to (for example, your stream overlays or public profile).
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to grant this licence. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the Soulstack name and logo, is owned by Soulstack or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
8. Plans, billing & refunds
Core products are free to use. Optional premium plans are billed in advance in pounds sterling (GBP) through our payment provider on the interval shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Creator Console; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.
Prices may change with reasonable notice before your next renewal. Except where required by law (including your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK/EU), payments are non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms affects your non-excludable statutory rights.
9. Beta & early-access features
We may label some features as beta, preview or early access. These are provided "as is", may be changed or withdrawn at any time, and may be less reliable than generally available features. Feedback you provide about them may be used by us without restriction.
10. Availability & changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and we will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes where practicable. Current operational status is published at our status page.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.
You may stop using Soulstack, disconnect integrations, and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licences you have granted to third parties, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that results obtained from it will be accurate or reliable.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Soulstack will not be liable for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with the Service. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in that period, or (b) £100.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Soulstack against reasonable claims, damages and costs arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by us.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also benefit from mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date and, where changes are material, give reasonable notice through the Creator Console or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
